We will never forget 2020, Covid 19 a global pandemic. The impact on the creative and beauty industries has been devastating. I have not had any client contact since March. Life seems strange almost surreal. I wake up every day and think it is all a dream! But when life gives you lemons, you make the best Lemonade right?
I have kept myself busy with Facebook Lives, interviewing special guests and discussing all things skincare, makeup, health, wellbeing and of course the creative industry. I have undertaken three Covid 19 Protection and Prevention courses so when life does return to normal and I am permitted to work, I will be able to protect my myself, private clients, work on set proficiently and teach with confidence.

I have really missed holding private lessons at my professional studio. However adopting the online video communications platform, Zoom, has been liberating. My Zoom skincare and makeup lessons have been both fun and interactive. I have provided a wide variety of consultations from teens, busy mums, career women and retired ladies since Lockdown. It may be not be the same as physical contact but you can still learn. Each lesson is bespoke to every client, learning the correct skincare routine, skincare products, makeup application and recommendations. My clients have loved that my education comes from my training and industry experience and reassured that I am not selling. I am not a sales person but a professional passionate educator. Client satisfaction is paramount! Knowledge is power and power is confidence!
